Our Veterinarians

Dr. Willaim Petersen
Dr. William Petersen

Veterinarian

Dr. Petersen was born in Detroit and raised in Phoenix. He knew from an early age that he wanted to make a career of working with animals and has always been fascinated by medicine and science. He received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 1983. That same year he joined the Westridge Animal Hospital team. For the past 42 years, he has been providing compassionate care and educating pet owners.

When not at the office, Dr. Petersen can be found relieving stress on the golf course. He also enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.

Dr. Todd Luttgeharm

Veterinarian

Dr. Todd was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2015. Upon graduation, Dr. Todd relocated to Phoenix and has been practicing as a small animal veterinarian since. Dr. Todd joined the team at Westridge Animal Hospital in August 2021.

Dr. Todd has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine and preventative care. His outside interests include playing tennis, and piano, hiking, and spending time with his family. His current pet population includes 4 dogs and 2 cats.

Dr. Gabriella Quintana
Veterinarian

Dr. Gabriella (Gabby) Quintana is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and is excited to begin her veterinary career at Westridge Animal Hospital. Originally from Houston, Texas, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Wildlife & Fisheries before pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Her journey in veterinary medicine began early, working as a veterinary technician at just 16 years old. She brings over a decade of hands-on experience to her role, with a special passion for internal medicine and community outreach. Whether she’s helping a sick pet heal or guiding a family through a new diagnosis, Dr. Gabby is deeply committed to building long-lasting relationships with her patients and their people.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Gabby is an avid bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast. When she’s not caring for her patients or spending time with her three beloved dogs, you can usually find her at the gym or exploring Arizona’s many scenic hiking trails.
